East Rockaway, NY Orthodox Wedding- Levana and Steve
What to say? You guys had a great wedding. Such ruach during the dancing. I mean, I though Steve was going to get bounced right out of that chair. It was such an honor to be a part of your wedding Levana and Steve. It was, simply, beautiful.

HIstoric Orthodox Gay Wedding at Sixth and I, Washington D.C.- Ron and Yoni
Ron and Yoni did something many people have been waiting a long time to see. They got married. Under a chuppah. By an orthodox rabbi. In so many ways their wedding was like so many others and, whether it was the first gay orthodox wedding or the hundredth, it was a spiritually moving wedding to be a part of. I want to thank Ron and Yoni for letting me capture the essence of what was a powerful day. The ruach at your wedding was out of this world. From the word go, there was singing and dancing, tears and joy. It was a beautiful day.
In addition to the photos on this blog I have posted a slideshow here: Ron and Yoni’s Wedding

I want to thank Rabbi Steve Greenberg and the staff at the Hotel Monaco for their assistance in making this day a success for all involved.

Orthodox Jewish Wedding at Ohr Kodesh, Chevy Chase, MD- Rella and Avi
Rella and Avi could not stop dancing. That is an excellent start to marriage as far as I am concerned. They danced when the saw each other for the first time, when they finished the bedecken, after the chuppah… You get the idea.
I am not sure there is an appropriate english translation of simchadik but Sunday was truly a day filled with joy and exuberance. I want to thank Rella and Avi for allowing me to photograph their wedding. I am always honored to be given this opportunity to be at the beginning of a new family. Please enjoy the photos on this blog. I have posted a slideshow with more photos here: Rella and Avi’s Wedding Slideshow

Four Seasons Philadelphia Orthodox Wedding- Rachel and Joel
On Father’s Day Rachel and Joel gave their fathers the best present they could ever wish for, a beautiful wedding replete with tears of joy and simcha like you wouldn’t believe. The Four Seasons in Philadelphia played host to a wild and raucous crowd from all over the country to celebrate this coming together.
The heartfelt spirit, the energy that surrounded this wedding was unbelievable. From the moment the first guest arrived to the end of the sheva berachot I don’t think I sat down. This blog has a small selection of images to look at. I have posted a slideshow here, A Glimpse of Rachel and Joel’s Wedding

Dumbarton House, Washington DC Wedding- Courtney and Eyal
Washington D.C. is an international kind of town but Courtney and Eyal’s wedding might win the prize for furthest distance from where it was planned, Auckland, New Zealand. (Though, technically if you dug a hole directly through the earth from DC you would end up a little west of Australia but whose counting?)
Their relationship has spanned the globe nonetheless and I was thrilled to be able to photograph their marriage at the Dumbarton House on a slightly rainy but otherwise beautiful Sunday afternoon. With people coming from all over the world to meet for the first time and in a long time the wedding was an intimate affair. I know that Courtney and Eyal are headed back to Auckland on Tuesday so I recommend to everybody that you plan a trip to go visit. You will not find a more amazing country anywhere.
I hope you enjoy the selection of photos on this blog. To see more please visit this gallery: Courtney and Eyal’s Wedding Photos
