"This is some boring s**t. You make it look interesting"
A communications director at an association that shall remain nameless told me this during a four day conference.
Your typical conference is filled from morning to evening with captivating sessions, impromptu meet-ups, and myriad events that are of great interest to your audience. Multiple times a day you are updating your twitter feed, posting new content on hot topics, and keeping both the conference goers and, the world abreast of the latest goings on.
While the topics might be hot your typical conference session looks like a person behind a podium - not moving - in front of an audience - not moving. Not exactly compelling stuff. It doesn't have to be that way. Your photography should be as creative and innovative as the work you are promoting.
